Sales Tax Policy
75 Homees Pty Ltd
Last Updated: 17 October 2026
At 75 Homees, we are committed to providing clear and transparent pricing information for customers purchasing shipping containers, container cabins, and related products.
This Sales Tax Policy explains how Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applied to our products, shipping charges, invoices, and refunds in accordance with applicable Australian taxation laws.
1. Goods and Services Tax (GST)
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a consumption tax applied to most goods and services sold in Australia.
The standard Australian GST rate is 10%.
Where GST applies to a taxable sale made by 75 Homees, it is calculated in accordance with Australian taxation requirements.
2. GST-Inclusive Pricing
All product prices displayed on the 75 Homees website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable GST.
This means that customers are not required to pay an additional 10% GST on top of the displayed GST-inclusive product price.
Customers can review the applicable product price before placing an order.
Any additional delivery charges or agreed services will be disclosed separately before payment is required.
3. GST on Shipping and Delivery
75 Homees charges a standard flat-rate shipping fee of AUD $600 per order for eligible deliveries within Australia.
The AUD $600 shipping fee includes applicable GST.
Where the entire shipping charge is subject to 10% GST, the breakdown is:
- Shipping fee excluding GST: AUD $545.45
- GST component: AUD $54.55
- Total shipping fee including GST: AUD $600.00
Customers will be informed of any additional delivery services or charges before confirming their order.
4. GST Calculation
For taxable products and services subject to the standard 10% GST rate, the GST component is included in the total selling price.
For example, if a shipping container is advertised at AUD $5,500 including GST, the breakdown would be:
- Product price excluding GST: AUD $5,000
- GST (10%): AUD $500
- Total product price including GST: AUD $5,500
The amount displayed as the GST-inclusive selling price is the total product price payable before any separately disclosed shipping or additional service charges.
5. Tax Invoices
75 Homees provides invoices containing relevant transaction and tax information in accordance with applicable Australian requirements.
Where required, a tax invoice may include:
- Business name and Australian Business Number (ABN).
- Invoice number and issue date.
- Customer or business details.
- Description of the purchased products.
- Product quantities and prices.
- Applicable shipping charges.
- GST amount or an appropriate GST-inclusive statement.
- Total amount payable in Australian Dollars.
Customers requiring a tax invoice may contact our team at sales@75homees.com.
6. GST on Quotations
Customers requesting a personalised quotation will receive pricing information based on their selected container and delivery requirements.
Quotations will identify the total price payable, including applicable GST.
Any separately charged shipping fees or additional services will be disclosed before the customer confirms the purchase.
Customers should review the quotation carefully before requesting an invoice or proceeding with payment.
7. GST on Refunds and Returns
Refunds are handled according to our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable Australian taxation requirements.
Where a refund relates to a taxable purchase, the corresponding GST treatment will be adjusted as required by law.
75 Homees offers a 30-day voluntary return period for eligible products.
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days, subject to the applicable refund conditions.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return transportation.
The original shipping fee is generally non-refundable for voluntary change-of-mind returns.
These conditions do not limit any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Business Purchases and GST Records
Business customers may require tax invoices for their accounting and taxation records.
75 Homees encourages customers to retain their invoices, payment confirmations, and related purchase documentation.
Businesses registered for GST may be eligible to claim input tax credits on qualifying purchases, subject to Australian Taxation Office requirements.
Customers should consult their accountant or tax adviser regarding their individual GST obligations and entitlements.
9. Changes to Tax Laws
Australian taxation laws and GST requirements may change from time to time.
75 Homees may update its tax calculations, pricing information, or this policy to reflect applicable legal requirements.
Any applicable taxes and charges will be disclosed before customers are required to complete payment.
10. Pricing Accuracy and Transparency
We aim to ensure that product prices, quotations, invoices, and checkout information accurately reflect the amounts payable by customers.
Before completing a purchase, customers should confirm:
- The selected product and its listed price.
- Whether the displayed price includes GST.
- Applicable shipping charges.
- Any additional agreed services.
- The final total amount payable.
Customers who notice a pricing discrepancy should contact our team before making payment.
11. Australian Taxation Compliance
75 Homees aims to comply with applicable Australian taxation laws and the requirements administered by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
GST will be charged, recorded, and reported where required by law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to override applicable Australian taxation legislation or consumer protection requirements.
